21/01/2018 Louise Burdett will be running the choir rehearsals on Tuesdays 7.30 - 9.30pm starting on the 13th March All the dates so far are on the website - please keep an eye open for any changes. Please remember your item for the Christmas Tree - please give it to Gill in a named bag so she can return it to you Children Outfits for the concert Children can choose whether they wear a fairy outfit or a Frozen costume depending on their preference / what you have in the dressing up box - not Mason! We will provide a wand each so everyone has the same. Please arrive at 3.30pm next Sunday if you wish to take part in 30 minutes of craft - please bring your template stuck on to a piece of card.. Singing will start at 4 pm - 5 pm If you have any jingle bells, please could you bring them along although for the concert we are hoping to borrow some. On Friday 1st December, the children will meet at 6 pm at The Barn, Waterloo Road to practice in the venue and on the stage. This will last approximately 30 minutes. Please arrive at or before 6.45pm for a warm-up just before the concert. During the concert, children are the responsibility of their parents and will return to sit with parents or a nominated adult arranged by parents after their singing is over. They are welcome to stay until the end but can leave at the interval if they wish. Some of the little ones do get very tired. All medals etc will be given out before the interval. A professional video is made of the concert and will be on sale in the new year for approximately £2.50. We look forward to seeing the children, if you wish, at our diary date events where traditional carols are sung The only exception is Ragley Hall. Committee We will be looking for new people to join the choir committee, please In order for the choir to continue, we do need new volunteers to step forward. Subscriptions The fees for the choir will increase by £2.50 in the spring.to £37.50 We have not had an increase for several years but we need to keep pace with the expenses that we have including purchasing new music, rehearsal room hire and.the greatly valued leadership of our professionals, Mary and Louise. There will be 15 rehearsals next spring, making each rehearsal only cost about £2.50 We hope you still feel this is excellent value for money. If anyone is finding paying the fees an issue, we do have a choir bursary fund. Please let us know in complete confidence if you need any sort of financial aid. We do not want to lose people The more patrons and returning patrons we have the more we can keep our fees down. Charitable donations We pride ourselves on being able to give to the local community. It is proposed that the village carol singing will be in aid of Bidford Christmas Lights We are hoping to give a sizeable donation to Lifespace at the concert. The more tickets we sell the more we will be able to give. Tickets are now on sale. One of our patrons kindly donated two tickets for the committee to use. We have therefore invited Lorraine and a guest. We very much hope she will be able to join us though we realize she is at the mercy of transport volunteers. Concert promotion Posters If you are able to sign for and take a poster please can you do this as soon as possible. A list of places has been identified. Please let Gill know if you think of any more Local magazines So far we hope to appear in the church magazine, Connections, and other parish newsletters. Village notices Bidford Christmas Lights The Charity shop is open at the Old Post Office in Bidford High Street tomorrow (Saturday 14th) from 10-1 and next week Monday - Friday 10-4 and Saturday 10-1. Libby and Christmas Lights Committee have organised this, funds raised are going towards the Bidford Christmas Lights. It's just a pop up shop so we've only got it till end of next week (Saturday 21st). If anyone has any really good quality donations of books/clothes/bric a brac, please could they pop along and perhaps they might even be tempted to buy a thing or two!! Arrive no later than 12.45 . Allow for car parking and walking to fete. Perform for around 30 -40 minutes. Wear cool summer clothing . We have a shaded area in the garden, Access to their piano and power sorted. Chairs will be available for anyone who needs. Please bring own bottle of cold water.

Use the St Andrews parish church centre next door. Travel in groups if possible to reduce number of cars There will also be additional hospice Car parking opposite Campbell close back near the Bell pub. Will have balloons and signs to direct cars to field.
3.07.2017 Dementia Cafe, Bidford. Thank you to everyone who came along today. A really lovely event. We all had fun and there were some excellent solos from Ray, Graham, Maurice and Mary and some fantastic dancing. Good to “Spread a Little Happiness” this morning. A very worthwhile event! 1/04/2017 BACC have been asked to represent as a community group at Crawford Hall Parish Council event Saturday April 29th. 9-12am. We should promote the choir as a community group but should also take opportunity to sell tickets / patron places for concert. A table top stand will be prepared. We will sing at 10 am and 11am - just a few numbers so please bring your music. Please try and support. Many thanks .

8/3/2017 Rehearsals have now started for our summer concert in aid of the GP Surgery, Health Centre and Dementia Cafe. It is not too late to join us. Children and teen choirs - please sign up now. The Children will meet on Sundays in the run up to the concert and the teens on Friday evenings.

A message from Mary
BACC members, you should feel very proud of yourselves. I met Lorraine out and she told me she has her internet connection and a tablet which she is managing to use. She's still very excited and is grateful to you all and to your friends and family for supporting the concert. Let's hope our summer concert raises lots of money for our next charity / cause. One very happy young lady in Broom says a huge thank you .
